Nice one Peter
Is this a candid? Very good framing.

Pete the sharp details are worthy of remarks; I would have like d to have seen what he is resting his back against. And, [chuckle] just where are his shoes?

Kevin and Jerome for the comments. There were many people out sunbathing by the river that day, but this was "the guy with bare feet" - his defining characteristic. I also wondered where his shoes were. It's his mystery. I was hanging over the wall to take this shot from above. Including it gives a strong very light out-of-focus stripe down the right-hand side, which I peferred to crop out. You can see the slight blur on the extreme right of the picture, since a harder crop cuts too much of his head.

just make the photo for me. It leaves much to the imagination. OOF areas of a photo don't bother me at all so it would have added quite a bit to see what he was leaning against.
Bob Michaels 05-Apr-2003 at 15:33Good Shot
but you need to show what he's leaning on. Without that it appears as if he's falling down the stairs.
