Spring

The 90 has a wonderfully shallow DOF that you've used effectively here. The background is painterly, though the upper right intrudes a little on the image. You have a short learning curve.

The beautiful Spring colors really shine. I like the bright yellow of the main subject against that painterly, oof purple background

for the nice comments everyone. I, too, don't really like that yellow floral intrusion in the upper right corner, but I also don't want to disburb the arrangement, be it naturally occurring or at a conservatory. Thank you again for the comments!

Just saw this

and glad it popped up. Fabulous colour contrast and DOF. Actually the fortuitous way that the yellow blur falls into the flower in focus adds something for my money.
