The magic of Tri X
Peter, Ah! The magic of the TRi-X! What I love with this film is that black is black. Your photo is purely art. It appears as a romantic and post-impressionism painting. (timeless) The composition is perfectly centered, subtle background with the archs of the bridge which are a response to the bridge at the foreground...Congratulations, Nicolas, Paris
Nicolas Roudenko-Bertin 08-Mar-2003 at 01:48Well framed,
I like the arch of the bridge / tunnel, and the reflected arc of light across the water. Very nice composition
Gregg Humphrey 08-Mar-2003 at 16:23I totally agree with Greg, great composition!

You sure aced the exposer on this one. This type of shot is not always easy to meter, but you've saved the shadow detail and have'nt blown out the highlights. It's a very beautiful scene and well composed.

I like so much this shot, but I find that Photoshop unsharp mask can help you to give back the photo his natural contrast.
