What a nice photograph! The photo has clean lines and beautiful textures. The strong lines in the image reminds me of the abstract weavings of Josef and Annie Albers. I particularly like the way that the perspective makes the step sizes taper off logarithmically towards the top of frame. My architect father was a big fan of Bauhaus design and his design interest was stairways. We use stairs so often that we are blind to them in daily life but there are lots of images here in the pages of stairs -- moving and otherwise -- that remind us of the significance they have.
