My Great-Aunt - new print - Vish Vishvanath

She's in her 90s, but is as sharp as ever. This new print removes the distracting blobs on the right of the picture and enhances the texture of her coat - not that you can see it on this scan...

Absolutely superb!

Brilliant composition, excellent use of depth of field, and what wonderful subjects!

title

This shot has intrigue but the title doesn't. Maybe you should have told us she is the Village Sorcerer or a Seer of Souls. Please excuse my flight of fancy...

I love it.

This portrait has real character. I love the shallow focus and the tonality. XP2 and the G 45mm have been a great combination for me as well.

STUNNING PICS

Your images are wonderful, please tell me what developer you use for the film and paper. Your pics are so sharp and snappy. Lennie Neumann

Remarkable appeal

Vish: I comment that your portriats, not just this one, have wide appeal. Commonly we see highly rated pics with a substantial track record suddenly receive an unusually low rating when the number of ratings pass 15. Your work continues to show universal appeal even as the number of ratings climb. This quite a compliment.

GREAT!

This is what I should be doing with my camera! This is what I wish I were doing with my camera! Why am I so lazy? Excellent image.
