Sign - Thomas Munch

A worn out sign that I found near a grove of trees in rural eastern Washington state. This is an important photo to me because it was part of a test that I was conducting with my G1 and new 90/2.8. I just got my G1 back from Contax Service in NJ, and I wanted to see if the G1 was focusing properly (my initial photos with the 90/2.8 had some problems with the focus). I don't know if the scan will do this image justice, but the words on the sign are tack sharp on the negative, and I just love how the Sonnar renders the out of focus areas! I'm finishing up a report on my generally positive experience with Contax Service; I'll soon post it to the Contax G message board.
