On the Seine - Steven De Castro

(Check the full image) A few months ago, I went to Paris for a few days. My friend Robert (sunglasses) is working in Hong Kong, and was going to vacation in Paris. I persuaded him to pick me up a brand new 21mm Hologon from Hong Kong where the prices are ridiculously low! My other friend Mel (red hair) was working in Luxembourg and came over for the weekend. Walking toward Notre Dame in the background, I tried out the 21 on the bank of the Seine. This is probably the first roll I ever took with it. Having just set the timer and ran into place, I am on the right.

I like it!
Looks like a photo for inside a music CD. Good one. I got my 21 in HK too. For only $595 USD. Gotta love the price as much as the lens!

yes, it DOES look like a CD insert photo (that's what I thought it was at first glance.)

Does work better if larger - I think, because the sloping people effect is more obvious. Not sure what the band is, but more slope and closer crop would get this on the cover not just inside the CD.

Steve, I like your 'artistic' style, too!

for this one, I would love to see a nice large print. Great poses, and the beautiful background and sky really contribute to the impact of the image.
