Just a great composition, but the tonality here seems a bit too flat and lacking in contrast, and the PS adjustments seem to have induced some magenta in the sky, at least on my monitor. Would be worth tweaking this image some more to get a little more punch.

I used to go to the Pizza Hut in Bochum every week; however, that's beside the point. A lovely image.

Very nice composition -- the thumbnail caught my eye immediately, and the larger image didn't disappoint. That said, I notice a blue tint to the sky, rather than magenta? Perhaps someone with a nice calibrated monitor will tell us who is "right"...
Thomas Munch 26-Nov-2002 at 14:03I like the blue in the sky
Like Thomas, I see a bit of blue in the sky. I don't know if it was intentional or not but, I've decided that I like it. It's subtle enought to make you wonder if the artist meant for it to be that way. Udo, please tell. Was it intentional?
Bob Michaels 26-Nov-2002 at 17:49It should be blue
Hello, Thomas and Bob are right. It should be blue. It was a cloudy day and the sky on the negative is nearly white. So I decided that a bit of blue would give the picture a warmer touch.

While people nit-pick about a slight tone in the sky, they have little to say about the picture. Why? Is it because the subject is basically uninteresting? I find the picture almost devoid of emotional impact, little more than an everyday scene rendered weakly.
