This is a striking image, Brad. I'm not sure how you did it (with curves, I guess)but without the "burning in" of the reflection in the water, it would have been just another pleasing picture. Your manipulation of the sun/clouds in the river really sets it apart. Thanks.

Brad, as a boy, I remember watching this river run, red, blue, green, and sometimes, yellow--when the textile mills changed the color of the dye for bed spreads. The 21MM is so sharp that you hate to crop a captured view. This image would appeal to me, greatly, were you to remoe either a third from the sky (above the high-light slightly) or in the darkest foreground. Either place would move the center from the eye level and make this an image to 'dive' into. ;-)

The scene was lighter when I took this, and the print is very washed out. I used curves to bring out the muddy brown of the water. I noted the centered horizon, and I appreciate your suggestion, Jerome. - Brad
