Farm - Gary Eden

This was a small farm just outside Albuquerque with early morning light (about 7:30am). I saw th light coming though and backlighting the tree leaves and wanted to get that morning feeling.

Gary - It is very clearly a morning (or late afternoon)shot. I admire your 'open' shadows. Did you develop/print it yourself? My other question is if this is a cropped version of the photo. If not, than maybe it would gain a little bit from cropping out the tree on the far left side. And personally I would have stood closer to this beautiful big tree in the front to get a nice sense of depth. This is of course a matter of taste, as I very much think yours a great photo because of its velvety feel.
Miriam Philippsborn 21-Nov-2002 at 11:19Thanks Miriam. No don't I develop or print myself. I wish I could do those things but I can't. I see what you mean about the far tree. I guess if I enlarge it I could have it cropped out then since the photo isn't cropped as you see it. Gary
