Wagon - Gary Eden

I was in a little town just outside Albuquerque and noticed this wagon and building on the main road. I stopped to take the picture. I liked it except for one thing that bugged me. The wagons hitch isn't in the photo. I wish it was. Does it bug anybody else?

Well....

I don't think I'd have noticed the hitch if you had'nt mentioned it. You could always P/S it away. The contrast looks under control considering you've got four stops more light on ome side of the building than the other side. The roof on the left side of the building disappears off the frame. I'd rather have had the camera panned up a bit to include it, but it's a minor point.

Yeah I see what your talking about Mark. I probably should have moved back just a couple feet and I would have the top of the building and the end of the hitch in. Oh well. Next time when I drive by that spot.

Gary,

I like this photo a lot. I would say there is a lot of history with this place. I woultn't worry about the hitch not being in the photo.

I am not sure that

any alteration of the composition would improve the image for my taste. The extreme contrast of the scene was difficult but you handled it well.
