is much sharper, but a bit noisy I think. I would move closer in and made sure that I had an more "plane" surface that I could hold in focus all the way. Some of these objects are closer to the camera than others and since they also vary in size (right foreground particularly) this is, IMO, disturbing the picture. You could help this out by using a longer DOF, but I do not think that this alone would "save" the picture. There is potential here. Why don't you try a much harded crop moving in towards the center of the image? BTW, what do you mean by "none" adjustments? Didn't you even crop this a bit?

Good compostion

and exposure. Still a little soft on my monitor but this may be due in part to a wide open lens.
