More Night Magic

Wow, another Hopper-like installment from you Bradley...I wouldn't have figured NPS 160 as a good long exposure film, but this sure looks great. The full size version is very sharp and the pink/red tones are very atmospheric.

Detailed

Bradley, I, too enjoy these scenes. The carved eagle next to the Cameo sign is so very Americano. What is the sourse of the red tint? What town is this?

Just amazing that

this was hand held. I think that thte slight camera movement may be the touch that adds the final magic to this scene. Awesome.

Everyday

I pass a theater like this with "This Theater For Sale" on the marquee. Why didn't I think of taking its photograph? Very atmospheric shot, Brad, and what a story it tells of our society.

Ooops

I definitely used a tripod for this shot with a 2 second exposure. I thought I indicated this when I posted the image, but it did not happen. The red tint may come from a nearby traffic signal or lighting across the street. This is Main Street in Brewster, about 50 miles north of New York City. After the theater closed, "Watch for Coming Attractions" was posted on the marquee. Eventually that was taken down as plans fell through. - Brad
