Kamiak #3b - Thomas Munch

Thanks to everyone for your thoughtful comments on the first submission of this image. In response, I have cropped the image (and adjusted the color a bit to better match the original). I like the changes, however I too wish for a better angle of the hay rake; I'm currently processing an image that shows the rake at a more dramatic angle, unfortunately without the cloud-burst. And finally, Kamiak is short for Kamiak Butte, a large "hill" (and county park) that rises above the farms of Eastern Washington state. Again, thanks so much for taking the time to critique the image.

I think I liked the other crop better; it had better symmetry for me. In this crop rain clouds become too dominant and the farm machine too big. Beautiful image. I expecially like seeing the rain in the distance. This is so far removed from my daily experience. In some respects this web site is like seeing the "Faces of Culture" from our planet.
