sculptor, hmmm. The way the face is cropped makes him look a bit like a sculpture himself, as if he has been carved out in granite. I didn't notice this in the previous version - I was probably distracted by the colors. So, yes, this one's better.

Knut, Wilfred, the facial bone structure of this man--just begged me to shoot and crop his image--just so. His skin quality--is--like hard, but, abraded smooth--granite. Perhaps the Portra--lends itself to this subject quite--nicely. I find this version much better---over the color or the toned versions, too.
