Very good

Jan. This picture is to exiting to give me rest. Colors are beautiful and you had a lucky hand with the clouds. Very good indeed.

Crop?

Jan those clouds are fantastic. I vote for a bit more of a crop of the bottom 1/4 just to keep the viewer's eyes fastened on the gorgeous sky-scape.

Crop?

The sky is beautiful, but I also like the line of green grass running into the bottom right corner. - Brad

Great clouds

I think the diagonal line in the grass adds a lot.

I like.

I've generally understood that the horizon works better at 1/3 or 2/3 (rather than 1/2, as here). Though, I agree that the green swipe of grass is important to the image. There are good horizontal lines here, some subtle, some obvious. --Anker

triangles

I like all the triangular shapes. There's even one in the sky (sort of). Plus I like the "implied" oblique lines made by the dark plants in the foreground that point into the picture opposite to that main diagonal line.

Yes,

Very tranquillizing. At first one doesn't notice the sea with the ships in the background. Is this Het Zwin?
I think you shouldn't crop to change the composition, but you might want to correct the tilt to the left..

Crop

Well Jerome, I dont't think cropping would make the image better: the diagonal line and the small green threes are part of the composition. (like the green threes are going to the sea). Wilfred, thanks for the suggestion. I urgently need to invest in a new scanner (cuurently using a 1200dpi epson flatbed thing), for some strange reason, there is always some tilt in the scans, I tried to correct a bit, hoping that no one should mention ..... ;)
