Even in B&W this is stunning from a pattern and lighting perspective. A great shot.

Francesco, the study is a fine experiment in perspective management. I must gander at this image several time--maybe even print the page--to fully enjoy--what you perhaps, saw--I like the boldness of the image. What would I like to see? Perhaps a stronger more prevalent focused element--the poppy--maybe--and it more to the left in the foreground of the dark trees--so it would stand, out, more. :-) Those are just my wishes--I applaud the bold reach here.
