mixed media - Robin Kleb

Whether or not it's a characteristic of Fuji Reala film, I don't know but all my pictures from this roll had a red cast to them. In this photo it made the branches all look rather pink-ish. I didn't like that much and when I played around with toning that down, I discovered that red was almost the only color present in the branches and removing it made it look like a black and white and color photo combined. Which seemed kind of cool. Then I went the other way and boosted the yellow saturation some. I think it kind of looks like a hand colored b/w photograph, but without all the work of hand coloring it. :-)

Robin, fluke or not. . . I can find many merits in this image. This rendering would have been quite tedious to accomplish by hand. Thanks for taking the dare--and posting this unique if unrepeatable image
