People

I am usually not comfortable when including people in my street images. I don't mean crowds but rather, when people in the image are aware that I'm photographing them. I'd rather see other photographers do this. I like this shot. It is well balanced. The framing is right on. I especially notice that the upper right corner nicely cradles the end of the sidewalk while, the lower left corner exactly intersects the boundary between the wall and sidewalk. I think these two items are crucial to making this an outstanding image. The central figure really works for me. This is a good capture of a momemt in time. Nice job. The B&W work is wonderful.

Ha! I know....

....exacty where this is! My wife shops in that market. If you ever see a white boy standing out in front of this palce with a baby carriage, come say hello, because that's me waiting outside with my boy while my wife is inside. Often I'll have my G2 around my neck loaded with Tri-X or something, hoping something interesting goes by or happens.
