Merit. . .
Robin this image has fine merit. Did you see the lightening fixtures while you were composing this image? They add zest. Perhaps, I want to see the tree's base, maybe--no matter I enjoy the converging horizontal lines with the mirrored verticals.

Thanks Jerome. Yes, I did notice the flourescent lights in the windows when I took the shot. This one didn't get cropped at all (which always makes me feel good), so I think I cut off the bottom of the trees in order to get the top of the reflection of the building and that slice of sky. There was probably a bunch of other stuff going on down lower that I wanted to avoid too.

These are the types of images that really catch my eye. If you were to see me walking down the street you'd probably laugh because; my head is looking around everywhere. Kind of like when a dog sticks his head out the car window. Anyway, when I see the curving portion of this image in the lower left quadrant I think it would look better if it ended in the corner of the frame. The upper right corner gets a little monotonous; maybe a slight crop but, that would cut off some of the trees. It looks nice the way it is. I just telling you what comes to my mind when I see this. Really good B&W work. You guys are inspiring me to try black and white again. I've never had a roll in my Contax yet and, I've had it for 5 years already. I've used it in my TLR but never in 35mm format. About 6 months ago I bought two rolls of Tech pan. I'd better use them before the expiration date comes up.
