Re: Beautiful Print

Leonard: Thanks for the comments (& compliments). I'm constantly amazed @ how long of a shutter speed I can handhold the G2 (& other rangefinders)!

Comments?

I would like some detail as to the time of day, lighting, your thoughs on the exposure. It really is an excdeptional image.

George: Thanks! According to my notes, I took this on May 8, 2001. I believe I shot it around 7:45 in the evening. As you can see, it was just before dusk; it was getting dark fast but there was still some light in the sky, the building & street lights had just switched on & the reflection began to become visible in the water. Normally, I don't use the traditional B&W emulsions (Tri-X, Plus-X, HP5+, FP4+) in the G2, but this entire roll came out well & has demonstrated to me the versatility of modern Carl Zeiss glass.
