Cool!

It's so 3D! Pops right off my screen!

Symmetry

Good symmetry here. I like the way the background is blurred by the glass panes. The crop on the top is a little tight. There are these two ornamental iron pieces at the top of the frame but, the top ends are cut off. This is a minor detail.

Details. . . .

Mark, I, not, really-pouting, agree with you! CHUCKLE . I, much like Lincoln--did not see the bevy of detail behind the glass--I was too, busy enjoying the right angles. After scanning five frames of the hurried shot--I was so smitten and surprised by the details--I just had to post one--to show you that I've garnered a bit or two from your structured images. This is part of the Moorish Gardens where I want to use your DOF (Hyperfocal) technique. I find that I struggle with the 21mm and would like to give myself a chance at structures and gardens with a different, perhaps, more forgiving lens. Keep your good critiques flowing.

Yes

this is a good one too. I can SEE that you now work with layers :-) Clairly 3D and excellent DOF.

Another minor detail

This is a fine photo. The horizontal rail near the top should be rotated CW to be parallel to the edge of the image; however, the masonry near the bottom is parallel to the edge. Can this "distortion" be corrected in Photoshop? Would anyone give a tutorial?

Distorted perspectives . . .

Everyone thank you for the constructive comments. Mark, you know, I had a perspectives difficulty -- the go all the way to the top--at least I could have cropped it level and fixed it in Photoshop. Bradley, yes, the horizontal could (should) be fixed. This entire wrought iron structure shifts about on its foundation-- thus on close inspection the lines are never naturally straight--but have Photoshop can fix.
Knut, ! Yes ! layers--great pun--and did you see the people in (on) the background layer? (smiling).

Very Cool

I think this shot is just great. Very nicely done. The 21mm was perfect. What a lens. The Depth of Field is wonderful. Congrats. Gary
