I shouldn't have rushed the scans, I am reposting the better pictures with better scans to do the pictures justice. ;-) Henrik

Yes... about that sky...

Yes, it is very apparent in Moab how the skies darken at various angles. I didn't use a polarizer for this series - with careful printing the sky usually comes out right. Thanks for the comments on the crappier scan - wish I could have reposted them with this picture. Henrik

Excellent

Wow! Great action shot. I used to be much more into mountain biking than I am today, and I'd always heard that Moab was Mecca to MBikers. This is a wonderful shot, excellently composed, and taken just at the right moment (in my humble opinion). And your exposure is right on the money. Great stuff!

Third angle, first attempt

Yep, I communicated with Per so I knew he was coming. On a burst of four frames at 4 fps two worked out well and this was the most dramatic.
