Did he survive?

A better scan on this will make it be a covering page of any one Bike magazines. Great!

Henrik, Hmmn, very good isolation of your subject. I itch for a bit more colour in the background--however, that might not bode well for the 'rider.' I felt 'sick' (in a good way) when I peered down the rim. Great shot.
Jerome Belthrop 28-Apr-2002 at 01:17thanks
Yes, he lives to tell the tale... I was kinda nervous though when I took the shot. I have it as a high res scan but this is scanned from a small print. As for the background, yes I should tweak out some more detail but on the other hand the rider stands out well from the background. Henrik
Henke 28-Apr-2002 at 02:19Contax G?
Was this shot taken with a Contax G camera? Lens? Film? Great shot for a magazine cover. Creates a lot of tension for this viewer.
Tim Cuneo 28-Apr-2002 at 07:55Thanks Tim
Taken with the G2 and 90mm on Kodak Supra 100 (usually shoot Fuji Reala but was fresh out) Exposure 1/350th f5.6 I am trying to get this shot through to a MTB magazine - hope they want it. Henrik
Henke 28-Apr-2002 at 09:03Well Lincoln,
the pic is razor sharp, enlarged you can see the Fox logo clearly and even make out the stripes on his adidas shoes (!) though the scan doesn't give away this. I metered off the ground and used AE-lock which made for a decent exposure. Henrik

Knut Skjærven 28-Apr-2002 at 12:09GMM?
Thanks Knut, I am not familiar with GMM, what's that?
Henke 28-Apr-2002 at 12:29Improved scan
of a great shot, but I still have the feeling that we are not getting the detail that your captured.
