Emphasis. . .

Luigi, this image has a broad range of tones in the main plant. They almost cover the entire "ZONE." Have you considered a significantly tighter crop of the central image to add emphasis to the images marvelous graphic qualities?

Perspective

When we look at flowers etc.; we're usually looking down at them. So, it's natural to see them through the viewfinder this way too. The first several hundred shots I did of flowers and plants were this way. These shots looked ok but, they weren't really dramatic. I've since tried shots from the side, underneath, etc. and, while it's much harder to ger a proper DOF these shots looked a lot better. This shot here shows very good technique. Also, you may have wanted to shoot it this way. The subject has beautiful symmetry and you've shown it well. I only mention the other perspective in case you haven't tried it yet. I like seeing what you've been posting. Keep up the good work.
