Pure and excellent !

All pictures I have seen so far from you are very good, but especially this one draws my attention. The composition looks very simple at first sight but when you look at the details you see at is all right. You can watch this picture for hours. I consider this picture as true art. Well done ! (Can I buy an enlargement from you ?)

Needs better lighting

it's a very nice composition, but the lighting doesn't work. You need to add a light fill-flash or perhaps just a reflector. The flower is not quite a silhouette and it's not quite lit, which is where this image fails. The out-of-focus background serves to frame the flower nicely, and the off-center composition as well as the diagonal lines make this a dynamic composition, but the lighting and exposure's all wrong.

Lighting

Glen, thank you for your comment, I think it would be interesting to try a gold reflector bounce on the shadow side of the flower. This could make the image more inviting and contrast with the coolness outside. Look forward to posting more pictures in the future... better ones.

Simply perfect

...with the emphasis on simple. I love the composition and the lighting has been caught perfectly.
