Light...
Kevin I lived on the Ala Wai for some years--then I shot mostly, Kodachrome--because of the quality of the light--and the expense--of processing. I looked and looked for thru boxes of negatives hoping to find--a similiar picture of your--of Bishop Street. I found none--but I do remember the quality of the light was fantastic in the Pacific--do you not find making images there with fine grain films delightful? I enjoy the subtle soft tonal quality of the light in this image.
