Mystic...
Nice intensity. Roch textures. Great depth of field.
Peter Kapa 25-Aug-2010 at 11:23That is "rich textures".
Peter Kapa 25-Aug-2010 at 11:24Again a killer/winner portrait about which you have the secret, Ibbi ;)
Fred 25-Aug-2010 at 11:27Thanks guys!
Ibbi 25-Aug-2010 at 14:41Awesome city,
Ibb, I can't imagine how you get such intensity in your images! This portrait is singularly striking. The catch light in the eyes and overall textures is really amazing. Linc

portrait... almost too abrasive for me - but brilliant! Did you make any other adjustments in PS? I like the way retaining the image as 24 bit has allowed you to make the light sepia tone...
Peter Brooks 26-Aug-2010 at 00:38thanks Linc :) (got to email you and skype too - tell me about the rifle!) Thanks Peter, I simply turned it into BW via PS, adjusted levels, and applied a warm photo filter afterwards which gives it a slight tint.
Ibbi 26-Aug-2010 at 02:24Intense! I had good luck in the past turning Fuji Provia slide film into black & white. Not quite like the "real" thing, but with its own charm. Looks like Velvia is as suited - given the right subject, composition, and of course (slides...) exposure. Nice, very nice work.
