Teacher and Student In Mid-Air - Robert Mirani

Another in a series of ballet images I shot at my daughter's ballet class. I shot these under less than ideal conditions: shot from the door of the studio, with flourescent lighting and strong, harshly directional light coming in from the windows. The exposure latitude under these conditions was very narrow...bracketing resulted in a large number of underexposed and overexposed shots. I also had to be discreet, as the teacher was not exactly welcoming of conspicuous photography (and in fact has closed off access since early this year).
