wonderful vista and lovely tones! Ansel Adams would be proud! How was Scala like to work with?

Fred 07-Jun-2010 at 12:47Dear Ibraar and Frederic, thank you! So far (one roll) I am happy with the Scala. I was a bit concerned because of the limited tonal range of slide film, the spot metering of the G2 and the x5 Red Filter, but most shots turned out good. Need to look at them with a projector this week, then I can give a better verdict, also how projection vs scan looks. I had the film developed in Germany, somewhat costly. The projection will tell if it was worth it. I have another 4 rolls in the freezer, and two trips (finally mountains!) ahead. Cheers, Peter
