Luca
Amazing. You were always my favourite bike shooter, and still are :-). Knut
Knut Skjærven 10-Jul-2008 at 11:48Thank you
Knut. You made me bike addicted..:-). Whenever I see a bike I feel I need to take a picture. Unfortunately this summer I think it will be hard to find bikes in the desert. Happy to be in the group. Cheers. Luca.
Luca Valisari 10-Jul-2008 at 12:01Fantastic, Luca,
What a great shot! I don't know how you do it. I hope you are going to bring some of that talent with you on your US visit. :-) Linc
Linc 10-Jul-2008 at 12:10Very funny, I didnt see such a shot long :)
Armen Amirkhanian 10-Jul-2008 at 15:24fantastic image, brilliant colours, sharp as anything, composition, framing and presentation! And a touch of humour and a girls bike too!
Ibbi 10-Jul-2008 at 16:40Thank
you Linc, Armen and Ibraar for your generous comments. Here in this part of Italy bikes are quite diffused, for long and short distance covering. It not so rare to have photographic situation like this. Linc, I'm still waiting for your shots here to be posted...I need them to learn WS tecnique...I think it'easier to have personal lesson on site. See you. Cheers guys. Luca.
Luca Valisari 10-Jul-2008 at 18:01Bonjourno Luca,
You are much too modest. I doubt there is any photo technique I can show you that you don't already know. The White Sands will be fresh to your photographic eye and I know you will record things that I have missed-and probably do a better job at it. :-) With favorable weather(favorable for photography) It should prove an interesting trip for you. Linc
Linc 10-Jul-2008 at 18:42Fabrice,
Your bike folder is off to an amazing start! I wonder if a folder about 'sand' would work as well? :-) Linc

Clean, colorful, chained on cobblestone; that is just how I like my "bikes..." Luca Joining this image inspires me to enter the Rider Factory.
Jerome Belthrop 10-Jul-2008 at 23:40Ja!
Rodolfo 11-Jul-2008 at 00:58Bike master
Ciao Luca, Up to now, I have to say this is probably the best shot ever made with a bike ! Thank you for such a quality picture and welcome in the group. Grazie Mille,
Fab 11-Jul-2008 at 01:47Bike and ride
Salut Linc, Yes, I would never think such a success. I am quite amazed of the posts : everybody seems to have a picture of a bike shot with a G. After bike, why do not try the Sand Experience : it could be pictures of material (You and Rodolfo are very good at that). Come on, Linc. Amitiès,
Fab 11-Jul-2008 at 01:55Vive le vélo
Salut Jérôme, Please post a bike picture and be a member, I will be really glad if you join us. I would add just one condition : use your 21 mm :-) Amitiès,
Fab 11-Jul-2008 at 01:57Thank you
very much for your kind appreciations Jerome, Rodolfo and Fabrice. I heard about a sand teme...plz wait for me and Linc, after this summer... No sand around here :-) It will be hard to achieve results like those possible with a G in the linc's and Rodolfo's hands, they are texture masters. Meanwhile let's enjoy this bike theme. Very nice the idea Fabrice, of a group with a changing subject for their shots. Grazie ragazzi. Luca.
Luca Valisari 11-Jul-2008 at 13:47composition
I like the colors : they are sharp and very vivid. The bike is put just in front but IMO does not interfere with the picture behind so the composition as a whole fails to make a certain unity. I guess that another element (like a person sitting right under the green guys mouth) would make the composition stronger. Greetz J
Jan Brouckaert 11-Jul-2008 at 16:12Thank
you Jan or your comment. Actually if only I would have shifted the bike left, the composition would have been more "harmonious" butsince the bike was not mine and I do not like to "compose" the subject of a shot, I did not. Thank you once again for your precious comment. Kind regads. Luca.
Luca Valisari 11-Jul-2008 at 22:14You are taking biking photography to a new level. In this photo, the bike is not in focus as much as it could I think. But maybe your style is to let the world form itself around the bike. A yellow bike or so would have been optimal here. Good it has white tyres. I have just bought a wonderful bike, I will take a photo of it of course...
[Unknown] 13-Jul-2008 at 15:40Thank you
Christoffer for your precious comment. Waiting forshots of your bike...:-) Cheers. Luca.

Ibbi 01-Jan-2011 at 13:43Thanks
Ibraar. I do not know if this picture deserves this. Anyway I hope 2011 HoF will keep being filled with your pictures. Have a great year! Luca.
