111st courtyard - MARK MILLEN

I work in midtown Manhatten. Sometimes on my lunch hour I'll take a short subway ride to a place where I can make photos. This day I went to visit the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. I think it's supposed to be the largest gothic cathedral on the planet. Anyway I was walking down 111st and I saw this courtyard. I needed to crop off 1/3 if the right side of the image to center it. I've been trying this technique lately of making stereo pairs of my images. What I do is move a few inches to either side for each shot. If the subject if far away I'll move several feet. This really works and it's so cool to see the image in 3-D.
