ugly

I really like this type of pictures. Sometimes I have the impression that there's too much beauty on this site. Some people seem to give low ratings to images of ugly scenes, but this is one of the images that proves that am image of an ugly environment like this can be very beautiful. I would have cropped a part of the sky, however - but that's a minor shortcoming.

Beijing-scape

Hi Richard, I agree that many photos that don't have jaw dropping beauty get lost in the mix. This scene is stark and makes a statement. Great visual impression. Thanks for sharing.

I hate this...

...type of sky-line, industrial violation etc etc......but I love the picture. Humans are so contrary!
