Gregg Humphrey 28-Jul-2006 at 12:06Agree with Gregg
but doubt about frames in your images.Regards,Armen
Armen Amirkhanian 28-Jul-2006 at 15:18Yes, as to frames I agree
that they can be distracting, especially when they try to make the picture 'more beautiful'. The frame you use are by no means ugly, but they do have a kind of old-fashioned feel to them that may lead the observer away from the contemporary themes in you photography, such as this very modern looking woman in this photo. Maybe Armen meant something like this? Great light and compostion in this one. Regards, Bert

Thanks, you guys have a point about the frame - although this is how it comes out when I blow up the negative. I just didn't want to crop the original composition but it really looks better this way.
Gábor Havasi 29-Jul-2006 at 02:11Thanks for not framing this
8.5 really. These are quite superb pictures you are posting Gabor, but as mentioned above by others, I too really do not like the frames in the others. IMO they have a negative influence on the very high quality of your work. OK for a postcard from Ha Long, but your images are not merely postcards and deserve more justice.
