I like the way the subjects are positioned. The 28mm really has a good effect in this shot -- "beam me up" effect. The DOF seems just right as the two subjects going after the ball seem to pop out in 3D. I really like this one.

is better.
George Shadoan 08-Apr-2004 at 19:09Bigger, as in this?
Hi, George...bigger pic is uploaded. is that what you meant?
Jean Lee 09-Apr-2004 at 22:58Yes, but
I think that 900 wide would have been even better.
George Shadoan 10-Apr-2004 at 13:01Great sense
of arrested motion which creates lovely shapes in space as well. To go one further than George, given the size of the subjects within the frame, this really needs to be seen as a large print.

thanks for the comments. i actually did blow this one up xtra large, took a weekend large print workshop and blew this up to around 40x60 inches, or something like that. fortunately, there is a lot of imperfect texture in this image (gravel, peeling walls) because otherwise the spotting would have been a nightmare!

I really like your photography, this is a lovely image, I would like to see it a little more contrasty and gritty to compare.
