such strong graphic elements and composition
Also, I like the way the two humans are in the frame but yet indistinguishable.
Bob Michaels 03-Aug-2005 at 19:14I keep coming back to this image and have uprated my initial rating to 10. This image reminds me so much of Cartier Bressons image, taken in Siena, Italy in 1993. The Bresson image was part of his 'Europeans' exhibition at the Barbican, London a few years ago. Excellent. Keith
Keefo 04-Aug-2005 at 01:29SORRY!
That should have read 1933 not 1993.

...I was perhaps more influenced by Kertész, one of the masters and perhaps my favourite among the classics. He has many photographs of anonymous people taken from above: his flat, bridges, different elevations.. Thank you for your comment and generous rating. Cheers.

...por tu comentario y generosa puntuación. La verdad es que "vi" la foto en cuanto pasaron las dos persona -y sus sombras, claro - por allí debajo. (Estación de RENFE en Oviedo). Un saludo, y ...a participar!
Baltasar Alvarez Quintana 05-Aug-2005 at 12:38Yes Baltasar,
I can see where you are coming from. Andre Kertesz is certainly one of the 'Masters'. Images like 'Displaced People 1916; Poughkeepsie, New York 1937; and 'The Tender Touch', Bilinski 1915 are very inspiring. Keith
Keefo 09-Aug-2005 at 12:14Very strong image.
I have seen and taken tons of shots like this, but this one has the edge. Nice work.
Leonard Neumann 14-Aug-2005 at 12:20nice shot
