Cuba Girls on the Malecon - Jack Kurtz

One of a series of photos I made during a visit to Havana, Cuba, last year. Havana's Malecon is where many Cuban teenagers go to hangout. I found these girls just relaxing on the seawall watching traffic and tourists. G2, 45mm lens, Ektachrome 100 VS exposure unrecorded.

Jack, this is a beautiful...
Jack, this is a beautiful picture, and you have an excellent gallery. What strikes me of this picture is how close you must have been to these girls, and how unaware of you they seem to be. I believe this requires preparation, and its clear you must have a lot of experience in street photography. Can you tell us a bit more of your technique (for street photography), and how you like the G for this kind of photography? Thanks
