I like the way this shot is composed. And the variety of textures.

the girls, the facial expressions, the setting into contex, the background indicating up on a hill or mountain

all combine to make this a great image. And, one of the few that really benefits from the addition of color. Plus, the short intro adds much information that makes the photo much more informative.
