Cuba Vedado home - Jack Kurtz

One of a series of photos I made during a visit to Havana, Cuba, last year. This home was near the hotel I was staying at in the Vedado section of Havana. During a walk through the neighborhood one morning, the woman on the right was cleaning the front porch. I went across the street and waited for the other elements to come together to complete the photo. G2, 90mm lens, Ektachrome 100 VS exposure unrecorded.

Cuba Vedado
Lovely. Talk about a 'decisive moment' - this has exquisite balance and wonderful tone and energy. Looking through the ratings I see quite a few people have rated this low, which is inexplicable to me. Look around to all the 'great' rangefinder images folks. This shot is equal to many of them.
