The use of light is very simple. To the left (of the camera) is the door to the garden, still open and since the weather is cloudy it gives a soft but still directed light on the face. The background is a wall approx. 1 meter behind the girl, and at least 4-5 stops below the metering on the foreground. Thanks for comments.
