Gorgeous image. Would you kindly explain the lighting?

Andrew Lipetz     01-May-2005 at 07:40

light

The use of light is very simple. To the left (of the camera) is the door to the garden, still open and since the weather is cloudy it gives a soft but still directed light on the face. The background is a wall approx. 1 meter behind the girl, and at least 4-5 stops below the metering on the foreground. Thanks for comments.

Just a hint of luminism

Jasper, your model is ultra photogenic--this scene has lovely illumination, too.
