Color much better

Thank you for the dual posting. It sure shows a difference between black and white. I liked your color shot much better. Even after brightening up my monitor, the person in the red shirt and blue pants all blends together as kind of a charcoal blob. Because of the dark skin and dark clothing, little difference is seen between skin, shirt, coat and pants. Of course the little girl has good definition, but then she's lighter skinned to begin with. I could have suggested a brighter flash for the darker skinned/clothed person, but then you might have blown out the little girl. The shot in color took care of the tonal differences.
