nice
nice pose and expression, but I am wondering if the 28 mm was the best choice here (I realize it might be hat's the only lens you have) I think the 35 or 45 mm perspective would have cut out the extraneous stuff and made a better portrait. Keep up the intereting work

Thanks Gregg^_^ I'm waiting for your comment . Now I own 2 G lenses, 28 and 90 (45 just had been sold) . In my opinion I think 45 is too soft and low contrast ,so I use CONTAX T2 and Leica Minilux instead in this range. To me,Using Wide-angle lense taking portrait is a big challenge.(90 mm. might be used for taking landscape next time :) If there is an exception on lense perspective ,I'll try to cross it over !!! By the way,if you have any suggestion for taking sharp pictures with 90 sonnar, please let me know.

Hi Robert, thanks for the repsonse. I do find your comments about the 45 mm at odds to my experience, and that lens is generally regarded as one of the sharpest and contrastiest lens ever made for 35 mm photography (anyone remeber the old PhotoDo site). I know it's better than any other lens I own, except possibly the Hexigon 35 mm f/2 fixed on my Hexar Silver, or the Nikkor 105. Please check my "Washington Hills Along the Columbia" shot, which is typical image quality for the 45 mm in my experience.
Gregg Humphrey 20-Oct-2004 at 12:26This is very subjective
but I think that I would crop off the roof drain at the top of the image.
George Shadoan 20-Oct-2004 at 15:52I agree with George
... but would also crop the overexposed area on the left (almost till the hand). This would put the subject nicely off-center, and leave her with a more 'neutral' surrounding that gives her more emphasis (as she deserves).
