I like the shot but you need to crop more, It's a pity, the imagine is not in line with borders.

with the crop suggestion. On first viewing, the diagonal was almost overpowering, a little disturbing

Agree . . . but (and)

. . . the suggestion to totally commit to the diagonal by cropping to align with the corners of the image, imo simplifies the image and enhances impact.,

I have published the image as scanned : the border is the slide's plastic frame. But I agree it can be unpleasant.

i must give your image two thumbs up. yes, the slide frame could be straightened in the image, but overall an outstanding composition. gives me the feeling that this was a tough ascent! also, i must point out that the sun is directly in the frame making a tough image to get right. thanks for posting.
