Summer Storm - Linc

As an afterthought, I grayscaled this image. It was interesting how the clouds became a central item when so doing. Sometimes removing the "distraction" of color helps you see other more interesting things.

an astonishing image.
John Allen 09-Jan-2004 at 06:40Thanks John,
I look forward to printing this image in "black only". To really make it work, I have to get some paper large enough to show the scope and detail of the image(super B) It's so much fun to search my stores of slides and come up with these hidden possibilities. Linc

A real attention-getter Linc. The clouds, the gradation from dark to light across the bottom of the foreground are fantastic. A really light infused image.
Bruce McKinney 09-Jan-2004 at 07:53Top image Linc...

and then some, Linc...another "9" easily from me. Perfect horizontal composition and simply unbeatable light.
Robert Mirani 10-Jan-2004 at 18:26Thanks Robert!
You know, it is easy to take these images and file them, but when I looked back at this scan, I could just see how dynamic it is! It is just so powerful in B&W. Thanks! Linc
