Sugar Mountain - Linc

This part of an effort to show the strong sand patterns in such a way that they and the full dune, dominate the image. It proved critical to have my 28mm focussed properly, even with a relatively small f8 aperature.

How were you positioned to get this wonderful curvature? The DOF does not quite stretch to the immediate foreground - I wonder if a short focal length would have improved this already good image?

andwhilst not 100% sharp front to back it illustrates the patterns and textures really well as they draw you into the image. Nice one Linc.
