Girl and Cow - Carl Radford

This young girl just walked up to this cow and started to play with it. The cow kept trying to go back to feeding frm the bin that the girl is standing behind. The sun was high and extremely strong but I just loved the carefree way she was interacting with the cow.

Carl

this image is very nice, i like the composition and the behaviour of the girl. It is also well exposed so i rate it 9. Thanks. J

. .

Strong composition, Carl! The subject matter is interesting, the contrast and dof are supportive of the composition. Her skin tone appears to be oddly marred; was this natural to her; or is this how TMX 400 renders skin-tones? Overall I think its a nice travel picture with fine elements

the girl and the calf really interrelate

It's the expression on both the girl's face and waht we can see of the calf and their positioning that just make this super.

...

great expression on the girls face, a real mix of intrigue, wonder and frustration! simple and striking.

Jerome...

I think that her skin tone was affected by rhe strength of the midday sun as opposed to anything from TMAX 400!
