Female Monk - Carl Radford

Female Monk sheltering from mid-day sun and heat. Shame there was no eye contact but trying to be respectful!

Good
one Cart. Maybe it could be even better with a bit more contrast in the lady. I like the composition and the way you have handled DOF.

i like the fact there is no eye contact, it makes it less of 'just another portrait' and gets me wondering what she is thinking. a peaceful and quiet atmosphere about this that almost makes me feel like i am intruding on her space. the monk in the background looks to be eyeing you up with some suspicion! i agree with knut about the dof, nicely done, and for me the contrast being less striking adds to the tranquility of the shot.
