Dirt - Gary Eden

What can I say? This is just dirt. A bit of erosion but still dirt. It was in color but greyscaled it :) It was off the highway just ouside Albuquerque.

Nice abstraction evens if it is
only dirt. I think that it might be improved by a little crop off the bottom.

I think it's a fine subject. It's a stronger abstract if you crop the bottom as George suggests. But the bottom gives it context too so I like it either way.

Thanks George and Robin. I see both points of view for the bottom. This was a small hill off the road. Cropping a little off the bottom I did in PS and like George thought it was a bit stronger and more abstract. I guess I didn't mind the bottom in this one so much as it also gave a slight real-worldness to an abstract design.
