very stunning image
Excellent
Jeff Chang 24-Jun-2003 at 23:16Very nice...
I think both the top and right need to be burned in a little though. Well framed.

The theme- motion--is evocative, Jacob. Between the waves, the reflection of the gull, and the churning curved wave line--one is easily swept up into the image.

but a little on the grainy side for me which loses the sharpness. however i love the shadow of the gull.

for the comments. I shoot almost everything digitally so when I get to use my Contax I think I sharpen them more and bring that grain out....for some reason it shows up more when I scan on a film scanner, but I like it, maybe because digital images are so sharp (almost too sharp sometimes). When I make prints it is not as grainy, just a bad scanner, but I sometimes like the outcome.
