Your friend and helper. . .

Kevin, if you can track down this Bobby--he would likely buy ou a pint for the image. This is nearly perfect! He should have just look to you! Every thing else is quite pleasing--the background is marvelous the tones even, and complimenting, too Where did the fill flash come from that is highlighting his face under that helmet?

No Flash!

Thanks - no flash no prnt dodging, the light was that way -- just bounce from nearby objects.

Nice Kevin

The isolation (focus) gives a sense of purpose. Good exposure, sharp.

Lovely street portraiture

But, is that a man being mugged in the background?

Kidding

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Seriously, I like this not only because of the elegant and serene capture of the Bobby, but because this is one of very few pics I've seen that use fore- middle- and background together well. Lovely bokeh in the back, with enough detail that one can see a distant figure. The woman in front appears to be approaching, soon to break the Bobby's distracted gaze elsewhere. This is a good moment.

In some countries

of course, you'd be arrested if he saw you!

'ELLO - 'ELLO - 'ELLO!

Not too many fresh faced, clean living young British coppers around these days.

Wow! 3D-orama! This came up on the 'Have you seen' spot. Wonderful depth of field, great exposure and composition.
